Things to do and see in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks
Climb 350 steps to the top of Moro Rock for a breath-taking view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Walk the 1 mile trail around Crescent Meadow
Drive through the tunnel log

Visit the Giant Forest Museum and walk the 1 mile Big Trees Trail.

See the biggest tree in the world, The General Sherman Tree. Walk the 2 mile congress trail and see more of the Giant Sequoia Forest.

The Crystal Cave tour (note this takes about 1/2 of the day). Tickets can be purchased online or at the visitor centers. Tickets are required for this tour. Tours are closed during the winter.

Topakah falls trail in the Lodgepole area. This 1.7 mile follows the river through a pine forest to the waterfalls.

Kings Canyon:
The General Grant Tree in Grant Grove
Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon-see the Zumwalt meadow. Drive to Roads end and Walk the mist falls trail.

Maps of the National Parks can be purchased at the lodge.

Restaurants in Three Rivers
In the summer months most restaurants are open until 10:00pm. In the winter months restaurants close earlier at 8:00pm and 9:00pm.
