" We found a spacious room, breakfast included in a very fair price. Bed and facilities of good quality. Really worth the money spent, with a fun pool opened very late and a spa. Restaurants not very far away, same for the Sequoia Park. Friendly staff with no judgement or nasty comments made to whoever you may be or travelling with. A real sense of customer service that can keep an open mind : we felt being valued customers (we stayed two nights). Recommended."

"My husband & I were very happy with the Western Holiday Lodge. The breakfast comprised of cereal, fruit, toast, boiled eggs & waffles. There is a PC at front desk that hotel guests are free to use to surf the internet. There is also free wifi for the rooms. The room was very large and clean. The pool is also nice. The hotel is a little tired looking but the value made up for that. "

"On arrival we were upgraded to a deluxe king on the upper level with only three rooms on this level making it very quiet and private. For the price it is a great stay. The hand towels were folded into a pretty fan, a nice touch. Breakfast was very nice, three kinds of cereal, oatmeal, waffles which were large and easy to make, fresh oranges that must have just come from the grove as they were the best we had ever had, bananas, apples, boiled cold eggs, two kinds of bread ready to toast, muffins quartered but you could have as many as you wanted, tea, coffe juice, milk. Front desk friendly, helpful. We had no complaints and returned four days later and were allowed to enter early in the morning with the maids instantly arriving to ready the room while we waited. Very accommodating.Even the drapes covered the window fully and moved easily. A great experience and we would come again to that room. Clean and quiet . Liked having a refrigerator and micro and coffee pot. "

"My husband, 14 year old daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. Great location near enough to park entrance. Dated but clean and spacious rooms, fairly quiet considering rooms are close to each other. Nice, real-sized pool and pretty area to walk around and explore a little at a lake area that is off to the side of the hotel- beautiful sunsets for photos. Be patient when finding it if you are driving at night-- it's a long quiet road before you see it on your left at a small hill. Nice family runs the hotel."

"We decided on this lodge after visiting several three river lodges in the vicinity. The owner greeted us quite warmly at the reception late in the evening and gave us a fantastic room facing the river. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a large balcony to sit out comfortably and look at the stars. They had a small but very clean pool which was a lot of fun to swim in and for breakfast which was included in the room, there was a surprisingly large selection of goodies to choose from. This place was less than a 20 minute drive from the entrance of Sequoia National Park. We were so pleasantly surprised at how great everything was, that we decided to write this review for the first time ever for any place we've ever stayed in. "

"We had the best experience here! Wonderful, & I mean wonderful people run this hotel, and make sure all your needs are taken care of. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!! The management was so nice, I can't even begin to tell you how pleasant they made our stay. Our room was very clean, the bed was quite comfy, and I really liked the big bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was really delightful! I even made my first waffle! It was all very delicious with selections of cereal, muffins, tasty fruit & orange juice. The grounds are well taken care of with big, beautiful roses leading up to a gazebo where you can enjoy your meal at the table. They have tetherball, basketball & horseshoes too! Next time I go to Sequoia National Park I will definitely stay here!! Thank you Western Holiday Lodge!! "
